ParticipantSorry Marla have another question
So I was diagnosed with colonic inertia about 6 years ago. My colon was healthy but they couldn’t explain why I had a very slow transit colon.
When i did have the test done I was having hard poo. But these days since introducing digestive enzymes, herbal teas and megaspore probiotic I now have soft stools BUT my colon is holding onto my poo! It’s like my colon has no lubrication I guess.
I occasionally take slippy elm it helps the slide but makes my bowels have this loud gurgling popping feeling, kinda uncomfortable.
I also tried ox bile, cause i heard it lubricated the colon, and it worked sooooo well I had never seen such normal bowel movements before, but then it stopped working!!! And I started to notice very cold numbing in my left arm. Weird. So even though it worked it begining I stopped it just incase was doing other damage.
By the way, I do drink lots of water, but water also seems to go straight through me, 1 cup and 20mins later I need to go urgently! I take magnesium everyday too.
I don’t know why my colon is holding onto my soft poo. (I’m glad it’s no longer hard like many years ago, since incorporating those remedies above)
Is there another part of the body responsible for this, that maybe I need to stimulate, or??
And is there any other suppliments I can try??
Thanks 🙂

KeymasterHello!
First of all, Bile is amazing and 100% necessary and would NOT cause numbing in your arm or any other side effects so you can start that again if you like 🙂
The real issue for your poor colon function is:
1) poor motility coming from poor vagal motor nerve outflow (I have a youtube video all about it and I talked about it in some of the LIVE videos under the VIDEO TAB)
2) Not enough FIBER (chia and flax). when you don’t have enough fiber, the colon wall builds up with stool and it hardens which ends up thinning the colon and therefor your stool transport as well. The fiber will help to lubricate and push stool through the colon. You will need to do this for a while before you will start seeing a lot of results but also make sure you are drinking plenty of water.
3) You need more omega 3 fats to help lubricate the colon such as cod liver oil, avocado, and COCONUT OIL (eat 1 tbs a day straight up)
4) You need a very high dose probiotic
5) consider colon irrigation/enemas
Your colon needs to be restimualted by re-stimulating the vagus nerve and you need to improve liver function

ParticipantOh and also is it best to take Ox Bile before, during or after meal? I saw dr berg video about it and he says best after a meal cause it turns alkaline. But then my bottle says take with a meal. And some YouTube’s that take it say they take before a meal. I’m confused. Lol.

Keymaster20 minutes BEFORE a meal is best 🙂

ParticipantOk. Thankyou. Whats the reason 20 mins before? Just curious, like to learn and teach myself aswell! 🙂
And also is it ok to take Ox Bile out of capsule and put it in mouth then swallow with water? I know this sounds strange but I kinda like the taste of it. But I dunno if I should be doing that lol.

Keymaster20 minutes so that it allows it to reach the colon before you start producing stomach acid which would neutralize it. haha I would leave it in the capsule to ensure that it gets where it needs to be (colon).
