ParticipantHello Marla, which vitamin D would you recommend?
July 8, 2020 at 10:33 pm #729Rosemary Nakrour
ParticipantAlso I would like to know which potassium supplement is good?. (:
July 8, 2020 at 11:06 pm #731Marla Pietruszko
KeymasterI love Genestra D-mulsion as it is very easily absorbed and assimilated due to it already being broken down.
For Potassium, I usually Genestra Potassium capsules however I believe CanPrev has potassium that is great too! Most brands are OK as long as they dont have weird ingredients in them.July 10, 2020 at 12:51 am #732Rosemary Nakrour
ParticipantThank you so much! (:
My other question is do you know what is a good electrolyte powder I can buy?
July 14, 2020 at 1:41 pm #767Marla Pietruszko
KeymasterI dont personally use electrolyte powder as I like to make my own 🙂
I like mixing this powder from Organika in a glass of warm water and I add a pinch of pure sea salt to it and thats what I use, otherwise I drink coconut water! 🙂

ParticipantI love coconut water from the coconuts! I just had two of them yesterday. Thank you for the reply.
Do you know any good olive leaf supplements? I use the one from Nature’s Way. Do you know of any other?
Also taking black walnut can I take that just in a regular day? It does not have to be during a detox.
About glutathione… can anyone take this supplement? Would it be safe to take it in daily basis? and during a liver cleanse?
July 15, 2020 at 11:32 pm #777Marla Pietruszko
KeymasterI like Natures way!
Black walnut should only be done during a candida cleanse and should be done consistently for at least 3 weeks.
Almost anyone can take glutathione (unless they have extreme health conditions, lyme disease, cancer, etc). Anytime is OK to take it and can be done daily 🙂

ParticipantWould u recommend everyone to take slippery elm? I know it is good for digestion. How often should it be taken? I know Nature’s Way has slippery elm, but if u know of any other that is better I would love to know. (: thanks

KeymasterI wouldn’t say everyone as there are always certain times where one should not be on herbs. This is where working with a practitioner may come in hand.
I like Oregans Wild Harvest Slippery elm as it is Organic. It should really only be taken when there is inflammation in the colon (i.e. during IBS flares, etc).July 16, 2020 at 7:26 pm #788Rosemary Nakrour
ParticipantThank you, for the reply.
I take sprouted flax seeds almost daily or sometimes chia seeds. I really do not know if it is true, but I have heard never have flax seed and omega fish oil at the same time?
I also wonder how often should I take omega supplement? I am a very sensitive person when it comes to any supplement. I pinch the capsule open and i take 5 drops.
& I would like to know when is the best time to take probiotics? I use the Genestra brand.
thanks!

KeymasterI have never heard that about flax before! I personally dont see any issue.
It depends on whether or not you have deficiencies in omega fats, if you have chronic inflammation, etc. I think its good to try to get it through wildcaught fish and only supplement if you have high levels of inflammation or need a brain boost.
Anytime is OK for probiotics but with food.

Participantoh okay, got it! (: Thanks.
For selenium, I would like to know how often this should be taken? and do u know of any good selenium? I really like the one called SelenoPhenol from Genestra brand. Sadly, they do not carry it here in the US.
Is taking digestive enzyme almost all the time bad? I take them mostly for lunch and dinner just 2 capsules.
Thank you, for the quick responds. 😀

ParticipantI wonder if it is safe to supplement with vitamin C and vitamin A at the same time? I take a supplement for my hormones and it has 150 mg of vitamin A along with Zinc 15 mg, Vitamin E 20 mg with some herbs in there. I only take half. I never seem to have a problem, but i would like to know! 🙂 thanks!!!

KeymasterVitamin C is water soluble so can be taken at any point and you dont usually want to take it with food (high doses at least) as it can cause bloating. Vit A on the other hand should be taken with food as it is fat soluble.

ParticipantI have heard the Genestra Brands – Amino L-Glutamine Powder is good, but it is a little pricey, so I got the brand About Time L- glutamine. Do you think that would be as good like the Genestra brand? I have seen u used that brand in your videos from long time ago. & I just wanted to know if it would be as great. 😀
My 2nd question is. I do not do well with bone broth collagen I used the Dr. Axe one. It gives me heart palpitations. Do you know why? I take the pea protien powder from nuzest and i feel just fine. Do you know of maybe any collagen powder that won’t give me any palpitations? I took less that half scoop. I took like less than an inch. & it just did not work out for me. 🙁
Do you know how I can order the genestra brand selenium that has the wild blueberries on it. It is not sold in the US. I like that one because it looks good. I use the pure encapsulations selenium brand. Today was my first time trying it.
Thank you, Marla for all the great info! 😀
