KeymasterHello,
gout is caused by acidity in the body so alkalizing the body is what is needed in order to reverse it. In terms of immediate relief, unfortunately holistic medicine doesnt bring about any immediate relief as it addresses the ROOT cause which therefore takes time. The root cause for gout is begins with poor liver and more importantly kidney elimination and function so doing kidney and liver drainage is an essential starting point. The kidneys are another very important organ for detoxification that can quickly become overloaded. Kidneys eliminate acids/crystal’s which are mainly eliminated through urine. However the skin can push out excess crystals through sweating as well. If a person is not sweating well, the kidneys will have a higher burden as the acidic toxins/crystals are pushed towards the bladder for elimination. If you cannot eliminate acids frequently, they build up causing eczema, itching, pus formations, kidney stones, gout, arthritis, etc.
I’d recommend she cuts out ALL sugar (including natural sweeteners and sugary fruit and starchy carbs) and increase water consumption. she can also take chlorophyll daily to alkalize and apple cider vinegar or lemon every morning in water. Lastly, she can begin Biotherapeutic drainage protocol for 8 weeks to begin gently eliminating. If she needs more support I would advise she works with a practitioner.

KeymasterProbably not for gout to be honest 🙁 Have her try soaking her foot in warm water with lots of epsom salts and helichrysum essential oil and see if that relieves pain for a bit.
