ParticipantCould you tell me the cause and possible treatments or strategies to strengthen the veins? Most of the women in my family have very bad veins so does that mean I’m doomed? Also is there a connection with vein issues and hemmorhoids? Both flared up after having my 2 kids and I wondered if there could be a correlation.

KeymasterHi Shawna,
Varicose veins is triggered by many different issues but the main causes are too much LDL cholesterol, too much calcium, poor liver function (the portal vein gets backed up and leads to poor circulation), toxic blood (the thicker the blood, the slower it moves through veins and arteries) and poor lymphatic circulation. Varicose veins takes several years to reverse completely and it requires a lot of drainage. When working with the heart, I don’t like giving recommendations without having the client sign consent agreements but also without knowing the history.
What I can suggest is you try improving circulation with dry brushing, consuming ginger and other warming spices, consuming garlic and cinnamon for cholesterol (I like Genestra Allisyn for that).
As far as hemmorrhoids and varicose veins go… YES there is a connection. Hemmorrhoids are DIRECTLY related to poor circulation due to portal congestion which is triggered by poor liver function. SO essentially, the first place for you to start is by working on liver (and kidney) drainage. By draining the liver, you will improve circulation and then from there, you can go onto draining the cardiovascular system.

ParticipantThank you! I have been working on my liver quite a bit because you had mentioned that when I had my pityriasis rosea as well. (You were spot on with your recommendations for that btw! Thank you!!) I will definitely try the dry brushing, I had actually thought about trying that. My veins aren’t terrible right now… mostly spider veins on the sides of my thighs but the veins in the backs of my knees are enlarged and the veins in my legs are becoming more noticable. I am so happy to hear that they can be reversed!!

ParticipantShawnaG311, It runs in my family really bad as well! I am excited to see how taking care of my health now will make a difference for when I’m older 🙂 My mom’s varicose veins starting showing in her mid-late 20s after having a few kids!

KeymasterYou need to de-congest the blood and cardiovascular system 🙂
