I suffer from asthma, constipation, acid reflux, migraines, fibromyalgia, hyperthyroidism, which is now in remission, my doctor suspects that I have rheumatoid arthritis. About six years ago or so I moved into a house that had black mold and my health conditions either got worse or new health problems arose. Ever since then I have not been the same. I have been going to a precision NeuroMuskular Therapist, as well as a chiropractor and getting cranial sacral therapy done. My body has responded well to those treatments for well over a year now. About three weeks ago my cranial sacral therapist decided to do a lymphatic massage on my legs. Ever since then I have felt way more sick and I have been reacting negatively to my probiotics, Genestra, 500 billion. my skin itchiness is worse I feel very sick, etc. I’m not for sure how to reverse what’s going on or how to get back to the way I was pre-lymphatic leg massage. I should also mention that I do struggle with things raising my histamine in my body I cannot have probiotics that are known To raise histamine in the body I also have a lot of allergies to cosmetics like lotions, medication ,etc.

    Thanks for your time,

    Rebecca

Hey Rebecca, thanks for joining and thanks for your post!

First, I am so sorry to hear about all your health issues! Unfortunately black mold is very commonly the trigger for chronic issues.  When we have so much inflammation, toxicity, imbalances, deficiencies, etc it is very common for our lymphatic system to become sluggish. WHile normally, we don’t want it to be sluggish and we want it flowing, in cases of chronic illness, having it remain sluggish means less inflammation, histamine and inflammaotry cytokines moving throughout the body damaging tissues and causing more inflammaiton… so technically it is a good thing for it to be sluggish, at least until our body is detoxified, de-inflamed and more regualted, When we stimulate the lymph WITHOUT making sure we have proper support for elimination (liver, kidneys, lungs, bowels, colon, etc) we essentially are stimulating our immune system and moving toxins and inflammatory molecules throughout the body with no exit sight so they damage and inflame our system and will continue to do so until they redeposit back into our tissue/lymph nodes.

I never recommend lymphatic stimulation of any kind (supplementally, massage, ice baths, etc) UNTIL your body is prepared. So with that information a few recommendations I could give (which may or may not work for you… it really depends a lot on your health history) are:

*Please check with your doctor before supplementing/practitioner*

    1. Taking activated charcoal or some binder to soak up the toxicity

    2.  Take high dose curcumin to shut down inflammation temporarily to calm the body

    3. Take DAO enzymes to break down histamine

    4. Start incorporating liver and kidney drainage with Juniperus Gemmo and UNDA #s (see biotherapeutic drainage protocol under resources Tab)

    Hope this helps!

Yikes! OK. I will definitely try all the things that you mentioned! Will my histamine and inflammation settle back down into my lymph nodes or body is this just a temporary flareup? The above supplements, or homeopathic medicine would I be able to turn any of them into a Suppository? Sometimes I have trouble taking things orally because my acid reflux is so bad. Do you think bathing in Epsom salt or going to a near infrared sauna would help get the stuff out floating around? Also, on occasion, I would get a red patch that would pop up on my skin and be itchy for a few minutes and then it would disappear again but now my skin is itching/burning especially on my face and gets warm to the touch. Do you think that’s from the lymphatic massage as well?

Is there a specific brand you would recommend for DAO enzymes or activated charcoal?

So sorry for the delay! I wasnt notified that you responded! so sorry normally oi respond within hours!!

Yes it should be temporary but the issue is that as long as the toxins and immune cells were circulating they were elevating inflammation more meaning your body produced even more inflammatory cytokines and immune cells so you ay be in a higher flare longer.

The above recommendations unfortunately are not for suppository use.

YES saunas, hot baths… sweating in general can help but even better would be castor oil packs 🙂

Itchy/burning skin or hives is from inflammation and histamine, pathogens being one of the main drivers of that so a candida cleanse would be useful. If you cannot take remedies for that now, At least cutting way back on carbs and starches (if you haven’t already) could be useful. Perhaps you could get a food sensitivity test done to see what foods you should be avoiding which can help bring down histamine.

For charcoal I would recommend Organika if you can. NaturDAO is a decent brand for DAO enzymes 🙂
