ParticipantHi Marla, I posted a question a week ago and haven’t got a response so I’ll just post it again basically this was the question, Hello Marla, I’m experiencing both lower and upper back pain I’m seeing a chiropractor and it doesn’t really help much, I was prescribed pain relief medications but not only they don’t help I don’t like taking them at all… any suggestions please as to what to take as supplementation? please help. Thank you and have a lovely day 🙂

KeymasterHi Feride, yes the question was posted as a new topic thread so I replied last week asking you to post it here instead 🙂 its a great question!
Back pain is often from nutrient deficiencies (lack of minerals – magnesium and potassium, deficiency of CoQ10) dehydration and inflammation. You can try incorporating a multi mineral, COQ10, curcumin and drinking lots of water for a little while and seeing if you get any relief.
Other things to consider would be stretching your back as muscles can get quite tense, making sure you have a good supporting mattress and pillow, and making sure your posture is good (not sitting weird or on angles, etc). If none of this gives you relief, you may need to a see a physiotherapist to get to the root of the issue. I find chiropractors help more when there is an alignment issue but for actual muscular pain, massage therapists/cupping can do wonders!

ParticipantOh Ok apologies I didn’t see you asking to post this here the other day I couldn’t even login it won’t even open the website it has happened a couple of times so far but the Australian internet is known for not properly working most of the time so it must be that lol
I have seen chiro and physio and not helping much so far maybe momentarily lil bit of relief but not much help whatsoever. I do drink water tho that’s the only thing I drink. I’m on 150 mg CoQ10 started around 10 days ago maybe I should take a bigger dose? Basically, I have done all the things cupping, chiro, physio, and so on but not much relief even acupuncture for a few months in a row but I still get the pain. I also take Irish sea moss does that count as a multi-mineral if not what multimineral brand do you suggest, please? Also, which brand of curcumin to take? I have heard of shark cartilage supplement for pain what do you think about that is it good or maybe not at all, thank you, Marla, have a great day 🙂

KeymasterOh thats too bad im sorry to hear!
I would follow the bottle dosage of COQ10 as I cant legally suggest you increase it without you being a client. If you would like to increase it on your own you could try that and see how it goes 🙂
Irish sea moss is good but it would have everything you need. I would suggest Genestra collidal multi-mineral supplement if possible 🙂 For curcumin I love Pure Encapsulation’s Curcumin 500 with bioperine but not sure if you can get it where you are. I think shark cartilage is great. Boswellia for pain is great too!

Participantok, thank you I will try a double dose of the CoQ10 and see how it goes 🙂 definitely will try shark cartilage, some minerals, and Boswellia too, thank you so much for the suggestions. Got the curcumin supplement too.
