ParticipantHi Marla, thank you for all your information. I am new to this subscription. I am trying to conceive and was wondering if your basic kidney and liver drainage protocol (unda 1, 20, and 243) would be safe to do should I become pregnant? The reason I am interested in doing the drainage protocol is because during my first pregnancy my scalp psoriasis really flared and traveled down my neck which it never had before. I am currently working with an integrative physician for preconception care, and all my labs look good (thyroid panel, ferritin, B12, folate etc) and I eat a mostly mediterranean diet. My only ongoing problem is that I still have daily flakes that build up on my scalp, which get worse when pregnant. Right now though I don’t have an active flare, my CRP is less than 1, and no GI problems etc, tested negative for candida. I’ve done a lot of work to get where I am today, I’m just learning about opening up the drainage pathways, do you think that might help? Thanks for your time, Becky 🙂

KeymasterHey Rebecca,
Welcome! I am so happy to have you hear! Yes it is very common to flare during pregnancy as pregnancy hormones promote Th2 dominance which drives you to flare!
To answer your question, YES! All homeopathics are safe to take during pregnancy 🙂 I think the drainage is a great idea to help detoxify a bit! that being said, flaky scalp is 99.999999% of the time also related to fungal overgrowth. Stool tests are INACCURATE most the time as you can get false negatives because of biofilms (read my biofilm posts on the blog for more info). I’d consider doing some pathogen cleansing alongside the drainage and then once you get pregnant just continue with the drainage until its done. After you complete the 8 weeks on the 1, 20 and 243 and I have another 8 weeks of drainage (under the VIDEOS tab) with more UNDA #s 🙂 I love how much you’ve been doing for your health and glad all your lab markers are looking good. KEEP IT UP!
Take care!
