    Dear Marla,

What would be your advice for my mom (age 63) who has often high blood pressure, gastritis and bloating? I suggested her doing marshmallow root, gelatin and TENS for vagal nerve stimulation, and adjusting her diet according to your advice in the gastritis video. And after some time when her stomach feels better doing Gut Reset and Candida Cleanse. I am worried that candida cleanse would be too much for her now, as she tried Gut Reset and Birch sap for couple of weeks but felt stomach burning and high blood pressure after birch sap. I guess candida cleanse supplements could also be problematic for her, could some of those influence blood pressure?

What could all be causing high blood pressure? She is taking medication to regulate the blood pressure but it is not always helping. She would like to find a natural way for regulating blood pressure and work on her gut issues but it is hard to find a good naturopath in the country where she lives.

Would appreciate your advice, thank you so much!

    Irma

    hello,

High BP is caused by cholesterol and liver toxicity… essentially metablic issues. minimizing starchy foods, consuming soluble fiber daily, eating mostly greens/protein is ideal. She may benefit from aloe too.

I dont recommend candids cleansing until her liver is doing better. perhaps she can try dandelion teas, milk thistle tea, beets, dandelion greens, grapefruit an dother liver cleansing foods. Avoid all inflamamtory foods/oils.

Unforutnately i cannot give supplement advice without her being a client sorry!
