KeymasterHello!
no parasites have no impact on homeopathics as those are energetic but they would ingest minerals, metals, etc… metals being being the most ingested. You should be doing liver and kidney drainage alongside the parasite cleanse. Chrons would be the cause of the pains and all that but it isnt the root cause of your issues. the root cause would be the root cause of your chrons (toxicity, food sensitivities, perhaps celiac, dysbiosis, immune dysregulation).
For gelatin, it only comes from beef. i recommend vital proteins or great lakes!
For aloe, I love Georges aloe from amazon.
Yes you can take the supplements with the steroids but keep in mind that the steroids would create longterm immune dysregulatory issues so dont stay on them long term if you can help it 🙂
I would suggest starting with liposomal glutathione as IV therapy can be too stimulating. Steroids reduce cortisol receptors which means your body cant respond to the anti-inflammatory action of cortisol. This post explains a tiny bit: https://www.instagram.com/p/CJleeQyDE5D/

ParticipantIs there a test I can do to see if I’m Th1 or Th2 dominate? Would like to get started on the supplements you recommend in your video on Th2 dominance and bioflims, but want to make sure I’m doing the right ones. I looked online and an article said crohns is usually Th1 dominate but then in the Th2 dominate it had inflammatory bowel disease so very misleading! Thanks

KeymasterI have clients fill out certain questionnaire’s that tell me which way they are leaning. Th1 or Th2 dominance isn’t necessarily attached to the disease, but rather the persons imbalances. If you have chronic dysbiosis, you are most likely th2 dominant. Just be careful not to take to many supplements at the start as they can aggravate and flare Chron’s. if you want bloodwork done, you can ask your doctor to test for Immune antibodies to see which ones are elevated but usually they don’t do that unless they see a need.

ParticipantI started taking marine collagen powder two mornings ago and later in the evening I took glutathione liposomal and about an hour after I hot extremely bloated, gassy and burping rotten egg like burps. At first I thought it was the glutathione so yesterday morning I did marine collagen in my lemon water again and dealt with some bloating throughout the day (also started my cycle which is usually when I will have the worst flares). By 11pm last night was in excruciating pain, sulfer burps again and extreme bloating (haven’t slept at all due to the pain). Haven’t been able to poop since starting the collagen. So now I’m thinking its the marine collagen as I did not take the glutathione last night. I am on day 7 (well today would be day 8) of the entocort. But since taking entocort have not had any negative side effects and have been going to the washroom two times a day (except for the last two days since collagen). Normally I deal with constipation so the steroids have been helping in that area. Is it possible the marine collagen is doing this? Am.i introducing too much too fast? Doing 1 scoop of vital proteins in the am mixed well in hot lemon water. Any idea why this could be happening? My gut hates me!! Should I take a break and try and introduce in smaller amounts? Is marine collagen a high histamine by chance? Any insight helps, thank you!

KeymasterSorry for the delay Danielle!
glutathione is sulfur based so that egg smell could come from that. To be honest ive never seen anyone have that effect to marine collagen however it very well could be. I would lay off BOTH collagen and glutathione for a week so things can go back to normal and then reintroduce glutathione first, just a single dose and see what happens. fi there is no reaction, then try a SMALL amount of marine collagen and then see your reaction.
Marine collagen is not high histamine but the biggest thing that “boggles” me is that it would cause bloating because its already “digested” so im thinking it could be glutathione.

ParticipantThank you so much for getting back to me, always appreciated:)
Honestly my system is super weird so I’m taking a break and just having soups and getting back on full SCD which HELPS me so much, literally just getting rid of grains, sugar, carbs (most carbs) clears my brain fog and makes me feel so much better! I think in a week I will try them again. I did do glutathione the other night and was up again all night in a flare, the weird thing is is that I have had IV therapy in the past with glutathione pushes and never had any issues (that I can recall). I almost wonder if it has to do with the narrowing (crohns) in my small bowel. Even elemental diet would get backed up in my gut (I could see and feel the bulging in my intestines). SCD diet completely gets rid of any back up like I never have bulging or bloating on SCD and I feel like a new human (much more energy, no brain fog and very happy)! The elemental does have sugar (dextrose and carbs) so that could be why. Perhaps its not glutathione or collagen itself but mayne the foods I’m eating before and then it triggers (I have no idea just thinking). So once back on SCD for a solid week I will start to experiment again. My insides are extremely sensitive unfortunately. Thank you again for all your help 🙂 I’ve been drinking lots of teas with cinnamon, nutmeg and tumeric and I’m absolutely loving it, I find it helps me not crave sugar almost like a little treat. Some teas I’ve been drinking are spearmint, peppermint, nettle leaf, holy basil, dandelion root are there any others you recommend? I definitely have a lot of toxins, dysbiosis and obviously crohns with a couple ulcers and small narrowing so many teas that come to mind let me know 🙂 Thanks a ton for all your great info. I’m feeling hopeful that I will be able to have a second baby in the near future (I was so hopeless before). You rock girl!!! IM SO GRATEFUL FOR YOU!!

KeymasterYes I am not a fan of the elemental diet personally. Glutathione is a sulfur component and sometimes people dont react well to sulfur when there is a lot of inflammation. i think it would be the glutathione and not the collagen so what i would suggest is try taking glutathione in miniscule doses (puncture the capsules with a knife and squeeze a few drops into the mouth) and see if that changes anything. Turmeric is great for Chrons so thats great 🙂 I would suggest marshmallow root or throat coat tea from Trad Medicinals too!
