Hello, a member (Jaymer)  asked me the following quesiton below and I wanted to share it with you all!

    “Hi Marla,

I am considering getting the Pfizer  Vaccine since it has recently been FDA Approved and it is proving to be effective in preventing serious illness resulting from SARS CO-V2. I am aware that the vaccine will not necessarily prevent someone from catching the virus but the illness does not last as long and the symptoms are not as severe. I personally know several healthy people in my area who have contracted the virus and become very sick and one person has died. Although I am taking supplements (including vitamin C, Zinc & Quercetin) I am concerned about contracting the virus. At this point I feel like it is not a matter of “if” we all catch it, it is “when” we catch this highly contagious virus. Do you have any recommendations in how I should prepare for receiving the vaccine or any remedies afterword? I have watched your videos on your opinion on the matter but I think a lot has been discovered about Coronavirus and the vaccines.

In addition to my health concerns. I have been feeling shut out from those around me. I was excluded from a family event and also have been “uninvited” to several things because I do not have proof of vaccination. The constant pressure to get vaccinated coupled with my concern over the new variant is causing me to consider vaccination. My family and my husband are VERY concerned for me and they want me to get vaccinated.

I posted this days ago but now I’m planning to get the vaccine. Several people I know in my area (but haven’t had exposure to) are sick with Covid. Many of them are younger adults and children.

I know I am not alone in this so I would love to hear what you have to say.”

    Here is my response:

If you choose to get the vaccine, it should be 100% YOUR DECISION and one you have not only researched thoroughly but also have decided that it is genuinely what YOU want. It should NOT be pressured by ANYONE. It is absolutely heartbreaking to see families so divided as a result of this. As far as how to prepare, the only thing you really can do is just try your best to have the lowest inflammation levels as possible. that means eating a VERY anti-inflammatory diet, no sugar or processed foods, sleeping well, etc. hopefully by having low inflammation, it will reduce the risk of a POTENTIAL flare. Hope this helps!
