I’ve been doing research on cocoa, and have seen on pH charts that cocoa is the highest on the inflammation scale. Does this mean pure cocoa, liking baking chocolate, or cocao nibs are inflammatory? Or just chocolate that has been heavily processed and had sugar added, like milk chocolates?

cocoa itself if you’re not getting the unprocessed types is inflammatory so try to get pure unrefined coca such as cacao nibs. That being said, cocoa is far less inflammatory compared to other things such as bad oils, etc.

Good to know! Is organic raw cocoa powder still go through an inflammatory process since it is still processed from the nib form?
