    Hi Marla,

I am wondering if the candida spit test is accurate? I see a lot of people using it as a way for testing if you have candida overgrowth but I’m wondering if there is science behind it?

    Hello Hasina,

I do not suggest using the Spit Test as it is very inaccurate and does not work. When you have systemic candida overgrowth, you will have candida in your blood, urinary tract vaginal tract, lungs, etc… so testing just your spit does not confirm whether or not you have candida in those areas. I also have seen MANY people do the spit test and and get “negative results” but then get a strong positive results when doing a stool analysis. I don’t consider it to be accurate or scientific 🙂 I hope this helps!
