Hi dear Marla, my mom is postmenopausal she is dealing with bone pain once in her knee then it’s her hip bones, etc What supplementation do you suggest for that, please? she is gluten and sugar-free.

I have this question about vitex, she bought 5 mg that’s the only one she could find where she lives, can she increase the dose slowly, and does she need a break from vitex, or for postmenopausal you can take it every day? I know you can not recommend dosages but what is the optimal dose of vitex for postmenopausal women, please we are so clueless.

you can take vitex for menopause longer term and she can do between 15 and 35 mg daily most likely.

For bone pain, she would need to work on hormones to address the calcium loss from menopause as you lose your estrogen and progesterone. Consuming foods that are rich in nutrients (dark green leafy veg, cruciferous veg, eggs, organic soy beans, flax and chia seeds, wild caught salmon, sardines, etc) can help support hormones a bit more and help with calcium deposition. Genestra Meno-gen phytogen is great for menopause also.
