I’m very confused about which essential oils to look for to take interally. Whats the difference between 100% pure andd orgic? I’ve got a organic oil at home and a 100% pure. The irganic is a lot stronger to take.
I buy my oils from iherb and the brand NOW is within my budget but they’re not certifide organic but they are 100% pure. Would you say NOWS oils are safe internally? Or should I go little more expensive and go organic?
Or if you can recommend any high quaility budget oils brands aswell??

It depends on how the plant are harvested and how the oil is extracted. If the oil says for topical use only or does not say food grade, I would not ingest it. The higher quality the better. Alot of times, cheaper companies oils (such as NOW) are more diluted, are not organic and their distillation process isnt 100% pure which is why they are cheaper. This makes for bad oils to ingest. i used to use NOW brand until I learned that their quality isn’t the best which is reflected in their pricing.
My favourite oil brand after trying Doterra, NOW, and many other brands is YOung Living. Their oils are the highest quality I could find anywhere and you can tell immediately when you smell them as they are MUCH more potent. Almost all their oils are ingestible except the ones that shoulnt be ingested by anyone such as tea tree, etc. They also have a specific ingestible line too! Hi Katobi!! I know I am late to this post, but I have a few NOW essential oils, and I personally would not ingest them because i don’t think they are made without chemicals/pesticides. I know most people really love Young Living and their oils are AMAZING! Its personally a bit out of my price range, so I have been using Eden’s Garden essential oils. They have very similar purity and quality standards at YL and Doterra, but are a bit cheaper. I can definitely tell the quality and potency of them! They are not MLM so you just order directly from their website. Whatever you choose, I hope you enjoy! 🙂
