<p style=”text-align: left;”>Hi Marla</p>
a good friend of mine just found out that her 2 year old daughter has type 1 diabetes. What doctors have prescribed her are insulin shots and glycemic monitoring.
My friend is very scared , because the doctor told her that her pancreas will be distroyed No matter what, and that they should stick with the insulin as this is the only thing that keeps the girl alive.
She is open to trying other alternatives. While giving the insulin shots to her daughter as she is scared for her life. I am trying to help her go see a practitioner in her area but meanwhile what would you recomand in terms of diet and supplements to help the girl with the glycemic imbalance?
also can you explain a bit more, shortly , what’s the process in the body that when having type 1 diabetes, at an early age Like this and what are the key imbalances in the body that need to be adress. I want to be able to explain to my friend exactly what’s happening (scientificaly )
i want to mention also that in her dads part of the family, there are a few cases of diabetes. So there might be also a genetic predisposition.
To give my friend a hope. Can the girl live a healthy life, in remision? And what are the long term chalenges, or risks that can come along with this autoimune disease?
thank you So much!
