ParticipantHi, Marla!
Should I be on hormonal support (the supplements you listed in the PCOS and endo articles) during the candida cleanse for excess estrogen and TH2 dominance or should these two be addressed if they’re still present afterwards?

Keymasteri usually break up protocols so gut cleansing first then we work on balancing hormones once the inflammation is down as you cant fix hormones if you have a toxic gut. In terms of immune modulation, that should be done from start to finish !

ParticipantOh, that makes sense! But how should you begin immune modulation?

KeymasterIts best to work with a practitioner to determine which way your immune system is tipped however i have some videos (and blog posts) talking about immune modulation here on this platform. Below are 2 videos you can start with:

Video 2: https://holisticspring.org/videos/#foogallery-294/i:13

ParticipantSorry for such a late reply, I thought I had actually written back already! I’ve watched both videos and am mostly ready to begin my candida and parasite cleanse, plus the biotherapeutic drainage.
I have TH2 dominance (allergies, asthma, estrogen dominance like ovarian cysts, pms, pretty horrible periods) and I’m aware I should be supporting both th1 and th2 to balance them out, while building my immune system.
Is it ok to do all the following supplements: quercetin, curcumin, medicinal mushrooms and astragulus? Would it be enough? I know you also mentioned perilla extract and berberine. Should I include those?

ParticipantAlso, on the candida cleanse, are there any dietary phases or can I eat everything you mentioned in your book?
As for antifungals, should I alternate between black walnut and caprylic acid so that the candida doesn’t adapt to them by using them for an extended amount of time? I can’t do fungisode, unfortunately.

KeymasterIoanna yes you have a great grasp on hat you should be working on!
Always check with your practitioner before beginning supplements but I would suggest the following:
–BTD
–Th1 support (berberine formula)
–Th2 modulator (perilla formula)
–M/R/S mushroom formula (medicinal mushrooms)
This seems like a great starting point! You can follow all the recipes in the candida diet book 🙂 and no antifungals are different than other supplements. you want to be on the same antifungal for 60 days at least. i would take both together if you want or just start with the black walnut 🙂
