Hi Marla, is it safe to start your candida cleanse for kids while their diet remains the same? Is it going to make the anti-fungals ineffective for them in the future? Also, do they need to do your basic homeopathic remedies alongside or can they jsut do the candida cleanse on its own? We are trying to feed them as healthy as possible but they are addicted to sugar (even fruit sugar) and we think they need the cleanse to break the addiction. What do you recommend? Thanks!

    Hello,

Are you referring to my seasonal cleanse of the one on this website? I wouldn’t do my Seasonal candida cleanse on the kids as it can be too strong just fyi. You also usually wont see much results from just supplements alone (sort of like trying to paint a wall with only paint but no brush) although you can try if you’d like!

I would suggest trying to reduce their starch consumption wherever possible and swap sugar for stevia, berries for sugary banana, etc. And ONCE their diet is improved, THEN try doing a candida cleanse with them. diet is ALWAYS the first step, not supplements.

For the kids,  if you are waiting to do the candida cleanse, you can still do probiotics, digestive enzymes, and other superfoods like chaga mushroom powder to support their immune system and gut but the antifungals specifically dont work if there is high starch in the diet:)
