    Dear Marla,

6 years ago I had a stomach infection and I after I heavily took antibiotics for more than 2 weeks, I developed IBS-D. Since then, I have always experience the common IBS symptoms (fatigue, stomach cramps, diarrhea etc..). Even though I was taking probiotics and otherΒ  supplements, I would get these symptoms (sometimes they would help a little bit). Anyways, 2 weeks ago I came across one of your You Tube vides titled ” How to cure IBS Naturally” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KzQJw-gVBxY) and purchased most of the supplements that recommended (Glutamine, digestive enzymes, bone broth, gelatin, probiotics, collagen) and they have been working great! I feel with more energy as well as I noticed that my digestion has been improving. Also, I’m still following the FODMAPΒ  diet so that I can increase my chances for success. And Now I’m wondering for How Long I should keep taking them and what nutritional and supplemental should I follow to keep my digestion and cure my IBS?

God Bless you for all good work that you do. I really appreciate you sharing your knowledge to heal others.

    Hello Carlos!

im glad you’re starting to feel better! The first thing I want you to remember is that everyone is different and has unique needs. Because of that, I cant tell you how long you should be taking supplements without working with you 1 on 1 as a client. What I can suggest is that you don “seasonal protocols” where 2-4 times a year, you do a colon cleanse using the anti-inflammatory supplements so that you can MAINTAIN your health πŸ™‚

Secondly, in order to truly fix the gut, you need to address dysbiosis. Usually with IBS there is a lot of pathogenic overgrowth so it would be a good idea for you to look into candida/parasite type of cleanses to do as well for lasting results πŸ™‚

As far as food supplements go like collagen, gelatin, bone broth, etc, these can be consumed like a superfood! SO lifelong (provided you dont have any health concerns that suggest otherwise) use is OK! I do gelatin a few times a week in my tea and collagen daily in my smoothie πŸ™‚ I also do probiotics lifelong (1 month on 1 off).

Does this answer your question? πŸ™‚

    Thank you Marla,

I’m going to stick with these new supplements for at least 2 moths to help my gut and then I’m definitely going to work on a dysbiosis treatment for at least another month. I also would definitely love to have a 1 on 1 consultation with you! I just want to do my part first and work on repairing my gut and reestablishing a good balance of bacteria in it. Have you created any videos dysbiosis treatments and diets. Also, where do I get more information about your fees and other related requirements to do a virtual consultation?

    Have a great day! πŸ™‚

SO SORRY for the delay in replying! I missed this reply for some reason! I did create some videos on youtube going through a candida cleanse and also have a few posts on http://www.holisticspring.com blog (use the search bar to find the articles). I also have my ebOOK as well! Im going to try and do a candida protocol here soon when i have some time πŸ™‚

    Take care!

No worries, Marla! In the mean time I have been watching your videos and educating myself more about a healthier life style. I think this was one of my biggest obstacles when I first got IBS that I knew literally nothing about holistic supplements and medicine,

Thank you for all the support! πŸ˜‰
