    Hello Marla,

What supplements do you suggest for seniors? What are some of the best supplements for them if they have weak bones? Are you able to suggest the brand as well?

    Thank you!

All people are different and some require certain supplements whereas other might now. The recommendations I ma sharing with you arent meant to be taken as medical advice and please make sure everyone checks with their doctors before supplementing.

As we age, our stomach acid levels decline as does our probiotic population so I usually suggest Betaine HCl, Genestra HMF Multi Strain 100,  Bcomplex with methylated forms, and antioxidants such as resveratrol and glutathione. Lastly, a multivitamin such as Pure Response multivitamin or a greens powder such as Douglas Labs Greens and reds is ideal too. For bones, they need to be EVRY alkaline so consuming greens powders, chlorella, magnesium glycinate, collagen and gelatin can be very helpful.

Do they need additional calcium supplementation on top of the multi vitamin?

Only if they have weakened bones. Calcium is hard on the kidneys so dont supplement unless recommended by doctor or practitioner.
