    Welcome Sarah!

usually ALS patients who are progressed are on a feeding tube and are usually fed ENSURE which is a horrible meal replacement full of garbage! This will make their condition worse. Food sensitivities are so important to consider especially with an incredibly destructive autoimmune condition such as ALS.

For feeding tube patients, look into Liquid Hope. Often times the labs will show huge reactions to dairy, corn, and soy, which are the basis of the products they will usually use such as ENSURE. Doing a food a full ELISA panel can be very helpful.

Most ALS patients I’ve worked with have had TTG-6 antibodies (brain based reaction to gluten).

You will also want to consider glyphosate, for sure, as well as methylation capacity.

Every ALS patient I’ve seen has had toxic exposures for years, and by the time the diagnosis is made it is too late. I have seen SOD snps (genetic) with this and so supporting SOD is helpful, but you’re just lengthening their time a little. It is very sad to see them digress and heartbreaking as well. Glutathione and other antioxidants can be very helpful.
